Visit this Sunday

Welcome to First Baptist Church of Sunrise Beach!

Each week we gather to proclaim the name of Jesus, hear from Scripture, and encourage one another. We are a church that values all age groups and provides opportunities for everyone to worship, fellowship, learn, and serve. There is a place for you.

As a church we are committed to: the truthfulness of the Bible, salvation through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, and observing the ordinances of Believer’s Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

First Baptist Church - At a Glance

We Teach

Understanding the Bible is a central part of what we do together. Each week you will find us gathered around the Word of God. We offer Bible study for all ages each Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m.

We Worship

We make it our aim to regularly meet to encourage one another and proclaim the name of Jesus. Our worship gatherings consist of congregational singing, corporate prayer, and biblical preaching. Sunday services are at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. We also meet Wednesdays at 6 p.m. for prayer and Bible study.

We Fellowship

We believe church is more than a place, but a people committed to sharing their lives with one another. Whether it’s a meal after church or two friends meeting for coffee, we seek to know one another and be involved in each other’s lives.

We Serve

The Christian life is a life of service. As a church we seek to serve others. On any given week you can find us visiting people in the hospital, volunteering, or lending a hand to a friend or neighbor. Each Christmas we collect boxes of supplies for children overseas.

We Share

Even today millions of people have never heard the name of Jesus. Through partnerships with the local churches of the Burnet Llano Baptist Association, Texas Baptists, and the Southern Baptist Convention we are actively involved in reaching them.
